BASEBALL REMAINS IN WINNER’S BRACKET
Anna Maria remains in the winner's bracket for the GNAC baseball tournament and will face top-seed Saint Joseph's (ME) on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm at Pierce Field in East Providence, RI. Johnson & Wales University is the host of the GNAC Final Four weekend.
When the AMCATS rallied on Thursday night to defeat Johnson & Wales 5-3 they ensured the rematch between AMC and the Monks. The Monks advanced to the winner's bracket via a 7-5 win over visiting Suffolk University.
The winner of the game will automatically advance to the GNAC Championship game on Sunday, while the loser will face the winner of the Suffolk/Johnson &Wales game at 4:00pm on Saturday.
