Women's Soccer Shutout by Norwich, 1-0

NORTHFIELD, Vt.  – The Norwich University women's soccer team broke a five-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory over Anna Maria College on Friday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Sabine Field at Haynes Family Stadium.

Norwich (2-6-1, 1-4-0 GNAC) won for the first time since Sept. 5, when the Cadets beat Johnson State 2-0 in the NU Women's Soccer Classic. Norwich outshot Anna Maria 37-3 in the game.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Senior Mehgan McMullen (Northfield, Vt.) scored the game's lone goal, while junior Leandra Flores-Nieves (Colorado Springs, Colo.) stopped all three shots she faced to lead the Cadets to their first league win of the season.
