Moran Repeats as GNAC Player of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass.—Senior Kaitlyn Moran (Leicester, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College field hockey team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

It marks the second time this season that Moran has earned the league's top weekly honor.

MORAN'S WEEK

Moran scored four goals and dished out one assist for nine total points in a 1-1 week for Anna Maria. She scored both goals in Anna Maria's 3-2 loss to Regis before scoring twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime, to lead the AMCATS to a 3-2 win over Lasell on Saturday.

The four goals helped Moran to continue to top the GNAC leaderboard—she leads the conference in both goals (17) and points (37) this season. She also leads the AMCAT squad in assists with three.

WHAT'S NEXT

The AMATS (5-6, 2-2 GNAC) host Framingham State and Nichols on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, for 4:00 p.m. non-conference games before traveling to Johnson & Wales on Saturday for a 5:00 p.m. league matchup.
