NEW LONDON, NH: The Anna Maria College field hockey team took on Colby-Sawyer College on Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The game was primarily played in the AMCATS' defensive zone with the Chargers outshooting the visiting AMCATS 17-0.
  • Senior goalkeeper Hannah Tobey recorded her seventh double-digit saves game of the season, stopping 11 shots.
  • The offense for the Chargers came in the opening and closing quarters. The hosts scored four goals in the first quarter, with goals by Emma Webster (6:43), Calie Sorenson (8:33), Alyssa Slocum (12:05), and Bella Silva (14:53). In the fourth quarter, the goals were tallied by Destiny Cruz (51:22) and Taylor Gaudette (57:10).
