Men’s Ice Hockey Falters At Stonehill

BRIDGEWATER, MA: The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team lost 6-2 at Stonehill College on Saturday evening in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria freshman left wing Samuel Gaudreau (Cornwall, ON) scored his first career goal with a buzzer-beating shot with one second left in the first period to get the AMCATS on the board, assisted by sophomore center Matthew Gilbert (Wyandotte, MI) and junior left defenseman Cam Tobey (Falmouth, MA).
• At 5:55 into the third period, Anna Maria senior left wing Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) scored his second goal in as many days and his team-leading seventh of the season. That shot was assisted by sophomore right defenseman Samson Mouland (Hay River, NT).
• Anna Maria outshot Stonehill, 40-20 on the day.

Anna Maria will be back on the ice on Tuesday when they travel to Wesleyan for a 7:00 p.m. game.
