Men’s Ice Hockey Doubles-Up Lancers, 6-3

WORCESTER, MA: The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team entered their Thanksgiving break with a 6-3 win at Worcester State University on Tuesday evening in a matchup of cross-county rivals.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Anna Maria senior center and team captain Sam Cyr-Ledoux (Montreal, QC) posted a dominant performance with two goals and two assists, including the eventual game-winner 54 seconds into the third period.
• Anna Maria senior left wing Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) posted one goal and two assists. Cyr-Ledoux and Sitzman are currently tied for the AMCAT lead in points on the season with eight apiece.
• Anna Maria also saw goals from senior center Quinn Tucker (Hancock, NH), sophomore left defenseman Tyler Lyewski (Orlando, FL) and senior right defenseman Jonathan Fowler (Tewksbury, MA) each had a goal apiece.

Anna Maria will be back on the ice next Friday, December 3^rd, when they travel to Rivier University for a 7:00 p.m. game.
