Pride Pull Away from Men’s Basketball 84-71

WESTON, MA: On Thursday evening, the Anna Maria College men's basketball team traveled to face off with the Regis College Pride in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at Higgins Court.

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS put up a good fight in the first half, going to the locker room trailing by a single point.
• The AMATS were within two points with just over six minutes left in regulation but were outscored 17-5 from that point forward.
• Sophomore guard Trevian Grenon (Sutton, MA) led the AMCATS with a season-high 22 points, extending his streak of games with double-digit scoring to eight and nine in his last 10.
• Junior forward Gabe Armstead (Dallas, TX) recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
• The Pride had a balanced scoring game with four players in double digits, led by 26 from Russell Rau.
