Bulldogs Slip by Men’s Basketball

FRANKLIN, MA: On Thursday evening, the Anna Maria College men's basketball team traveled to face off with the Dean College Bulldogs in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at the Pieri Gymnasium.

THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS were sunk by a 19-4 run over the final six minutes. The AMCATS trailed by as much as 18 points early in the second half but fought back to tie the game at 56 with about six and half minutes left in regulation.
• Junior forward Gabe Armstead (Dallas, TX) led the AMCATS with 12 points to go with a team-high seven rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Trevian Grenon (Sutton, MA) contributed 11 points on 4-9 shooting including 3-6 from beyond the three-point arc.
• Graduate student guard Kennedy Minix-Rogers had a game-high five assists.
• The Bulldogs had four players score in double-digits, AJ Weston (18 points), Mark Blair (12), Jakobi Greenleaf (10), and Malik Spearman. Greenleaf had a double-double adding 15 boards.
