Men’s Basketball Falls To St. Josephs (ME.)

STANDISH, ME: On Tuesday January 3rd the Men's Basketball team traveled to Standish, ME. to take on the St. Josephs Monks. The AMCATS lost the game 81-91

THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS

• Going up early against the Monks the AMCATS kept things close battling back and forth throughout the start of the first half.
• After the first half the AMCATS trailed by 9 points.
• After going down early in the second half the AMCATS scratch back to close the Monks lead but still found themselves trailing in the final minutes of the game.
• Gabe Armstead led Anna Maria with 17 points in the game scoring 14 of his points in the second half of the game to give the AMCATS a fighting chance.
• Sean Zabari followed just behind Armstead putting up 16 points in the matchup.
• Deandre Wallace went 6-7 in free throws putting up a career high of 10 points against the Monks.
