Men’s Basketball Comes Back To Beat Cadets 76-69

PAXTON, MA: On Thursday, January, 19th the men's basketball team hosted the Norwich University Cadets in a GNAC Conference matchup. The AMCATS won the game 76-69.

THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS

• After hanging in with the Cadets for most of the first half the AMCATS slowly trailed behind finishing out the first half of the game down 47-38.
• Early points at the start of second got Anna Maria back in the game. 
• A jump shot from Christian Armstead to tie the game up at 52 a piece seemed to be the kickstart that the AMCATS needed. 
• Now battling back and forth with the Cadets the AMCATS found their stride eventually pulling away from Norwich late in the second half.
• With a strong defensive effort the AMCATS held off the Cadets to secure the win.
• Sean Zabari led the charge for the AMCATS posting 18 points against the cadets.
