Men’s Basketball Comes Out On Top In Nail Biter Against St. Josephs (ME) 74-72

PAXTON, MA: On Wednesday, February 8th the Anna Maria men's basketball team hosted the Monks of St. Josephs (ME) for a GNAC Conference Matchup. The AMCATS won the game 74-72.

• Coming out of the first half of the game the AMCATS led over the Monks 46-43. 
• Going point for point with the Monks throughout the second half the AMCATS find themselves on the ropes tied at 72 points a piece with four seconds left in the game.
• Kennedy Minix-Rogers broke the tie with a jump shot to put the AMCATS over the Monks.
• The AMCATS defense held off the Monks in the final seconds of the game to secure the conference win.
• Gabe Armstead and Sean Zabari led the charge with 19 points a piece. Hayden Braga collected 12 points in the effort against the Monks as well
