Men’s Basketball Drops a Catfight to Cougars

WORCESTER, MA: The Anna Maria College men's basketball traveled to meet the Clark University Cougars for some non-conference action at the Kneller Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.

THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS

• Gabe Armstead (Dallas, GA) and Jayden Dickerson (Springfield, MA) each scored 13 points to lead the AMCATS.
• Armstead also added a game-high 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
• Dickerson scored his 13 points in 17 minutes off the bench.
• The AMCATS got back two key guards from injury in junior Jakai Alexandre (Fitchburg, MA) and graduate student Kennedy Minix-Rogers (Smyrna, GA). Despite both missing two games, Alexandre had a team-high seven assists and two steals while Minix-Rogers contributed eight points, and seven rebounds and was a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe.
• Clark's Bruce Saintilus scored 23 points to lead all scorers.
• The Cougars had four players score in double digits including Saintilus, Reid Neumann (18 points), Isaiah Taylor (17 points), and Mikey O'Brien (10 points).
