Women’s Basketball Sails by Chargers

PAXTON, MA: On Saturday afternoon, the Anna Maria College women's basketball team welcomed the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at the Fuller Activities Center.

SENIOR DAY:

Prior to the game, the AMCATS recognized their graduating senior class as part of senior day. Patty Agbeh (Raleigh, NC) was honored by coaches, teammates, family members, and fans for her time with the basketball program. Although her time with the program may be ending, she will forever be a part of the AMCAT family.

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS dominated early, jumping out to a 19-8 lead after the first quarter. Their largest lead of the game came early in the third quarter when they pushed the lead to as many as 21 points.
• Sophomore guard Marinique Reddin (Tampa, FL) paced all scorers with a game-high 18 points while also pulling down a game-high nine rebounds and dishing out a team-high four assists.
• Junior guard Gina Parmenter (Oxford, MA) added on 17 points, including five three-point baskets.
• Celebrating her senior night, Agbeh had a season-high seven points while also hauling in eight rebounds.
• Freshman guard Arianna Saladini (Fitchburg, MA) contributed nine points including a perfect 4-4 day at the free throw line.
• Marissa Holt led the Chargers with 16 points.
