Women’s Basketball Falls Short In OT To Wentworth
Boston, MA: On Thursday evening, the Anna Maria College women's basketball team traveled to Boston to face off against non-conference opponent Wentworth College. AMCATS fell short in overtime 66-63

HIGHLIGHTS
- The AMCATS started the game out strong, going point for point with Wentworth before going down by five to close out the first quarter.
- The AMCATS trailed by just four points going into the second half behind sophomore Marinique Reddin's 12 points.
- In the fourth quarter, the AMCATS out scored the Leopards 21-14 and led by two with eight seconds to play.
- Wentworth took the lead 55-54 with five seconds remaining on a made free throw by Nattaly David. Reddin tied the game for the AMCATS on a made free throw with three seconds to force overtime.
- After five extra minutes of back and forth play, the AMCATS were outscored 11-8 in overtime to suffer the non-league loss, 66-63.
- Reddin led all scorers with 28 points and added 13 rebounds to record a double-double. Junior Gina Parmenter added 17 points and graduate student Julitza Delgado had 13 points for the AMCATS.
