PAXTON, Mass.—Junior forward Kylie Dalbec (Portland, Maine) of the Anna Maria College field hockey team has been named to the 2014 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division III All-New England East Region First Team, as announced by the NHFCA on Monday morning.

Dalbec, the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Offensive Player of the Year, earns NHFCA All-Region honors for the first time in her decorated career. A junior, Dalbec is a three-time major award winner, as she was dubbed the NECC Player of the Year in 2013 and was the NECC Rookie of the Year in 2012.

The leading scorer in the GNAC's inaugural season, Dalbec tallied 21 goals this season and also led the league in total points with 48. She tallied a league-leading nine game-winning goals in 2014, including three in conference play and the game-winner in Anna Maria's upset win against St. Joseph's in the GNAC Semifinals. Dalbec also ranks among one of the best scorers in the country, as she holds the 29th slot in goals per game in all of Division III in 2014.

Two other GNAC student-athletes were named to the All-New England East Region First Team, including the GNAC Defensive Player of the Year, Theresa Hendrix of St. Joseph's, and Avery Hines of Simmons.

The first team recipients from the six regions will now be in the running for recognition on the 2014 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-American Teams, which will be announced on December 1st
