Paxton, Mass.  – Junior Kylie Dalbec (Portland, Maine) potted a pair of goals and freshman Shelby Looney (Leicester, Mass.) netted her first collegiate tally to lead the AMCATS of Anna Maria College to a 5-0 win over Regis College in field hockey action at AMCAT Field. With the non-conference win the AMCATS record improves to 9-7, while the Pride drop to 2-11 on the season.

Senior Nichole Lowe (Saugus, Mass.) notched her team-best ninth assist on Dalbec's goal at 4:03 of the first half to give the AMCATS the early 1-0 lead. Sophomore Kayla Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) would double the score at 18:17 with a blast from the top of the circle.

AMC's Dalbec would round out the first stanza scoring with a rocket to the right corner past Regis netminder Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.). Freshman Sarah Bess (West Barnstable, Mass.) threaded a pass through to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) leading scorer for her second assist of the season.

Anna Maria would add a pair of goals in the second period to seal the victory. Lowe added her ninth goal of the season at the 59:22 mark and Looney would tip the twine off a set corner play with less than five minutes remaining for the 5-0 final.
