Parker Earns GNAC Honor Roll Recognition

Paxton, Mass. – As announced by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) on Monday evening, Anna Maria College sophomore Samantha Parker (Athol, Mass.) earned GNAC Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll recognition.

Parker delivered 40 assists to lead the AMCATS to a 1-1 week, including a 3-0 victory over Albertus Magnus College. It was Anna Maria's first GNAC win since joining the league in 2011. Parker registered 6.67 assists per set average while adding eight digs, two kills, three service aces and a pair of blocks over six games.

 In a 3-0 loss to Lasell College, Samantha had 17 assists, 2 digs and a block. The sophomore setter dished 23 helpers, added 6 digs and three service aces in the road victory at Albertus Magnus College.

The Lady AMCATS return to action on Tuesday evening when the host Southern Maine University at 7pm. It will be the AMCATS annual DIG PINK Night for the Side-Out foundations Breast Cancer Awareness month.
