Paxton, Mass. – The Anna Maria College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-20) loss to Framingham State University on Wednesday evening at Fuller Activities Center.
With the loss, Anna Maria moves to 6-6 on the season, while Framingham pushes to 10-2 for the 2013 campaign.
Freshman Michelle Connolly (Quincy, Mass.) totaled a match-best 17 digs for the AMCATS, while Samantha Parker (Athol, Mass.) dished out 13 assists on the night.
AMC sophomores Alyssa Haberman (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Jessica Goulet (Lawrence, Mass.) both smashed a team-high four kills. Goulet also had her hand in three blocks in the losing effort.
Anna Maria returns to action on Saturday when the travel to Gordon College for an 11:00 am match-up.
