Williamson was an efficient 6-for-10 for 13 points while Kaasila contributed 13 points in the win.

The AMCATS built an early 10-9 lead after freshman Tyler Delorey (Worcester, Mass.) converted a free throw to complete a three-point play. However the Lord Jeffs rolled off a 14-0 run to take a 23-10 advantage at the 11:00 minute mark and never looked back. Amherst took an 43-29 advantage over the opening 20 minutes after shooting a blistering 58.6% from the field, while Anna Maria struggled connecting on just 36.7% of their attempts in the first half.

Anna Maria kept the game close to begin the second half, Brad Peterson's trey at 17:38 kept it to a 12 point game, 50-38 and when freshman Jaylen Dottin (Southbridge, Mass.) put back an Anthony Click miss, the deficit was just 61-50 with 12 minutes to play. However, the Lord Jeffs proved to powerful down the stretch and pulled away for the 94-67 win.

Amherst College finished the game shooting 55% from the field to their counterparts 38.5%, while Anna Maria held the slight rebounding edge 41-39.

Anna Maria is now off for winter break, the AMCATS will return in 2013 when they will travel to Fitchburg State to visit the Falcons at 7:30 pm on January 3rd.
