AMC Baseball Winter Clinics

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College's head baseball coach Dave McNamara announced today the dates of the annual Anna Maria Baseball Winter Clinic to be held at the Fuller Athletic Center starting in January 2012.

Known for the small group instruction, the clinics will be open to kids ages 6 – 13 beginning on Sunday January 8^th. The clinics will run on five consecutive Sundays from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm. Each session will cost $40.00 per week; however there is a $40.00 discount if you attend all five session ($160).

Coach McNamara earned Worcester Area Coach of the Year recognition after leading the AMCATS to a program record 26 wins in 2011 and first ever ECAC Division III New England Baseball Title. The team also broke the school record for wins in 2010 with 21. Coach McNamara and the AMCATS have earned two-straight post-season ECAC Championship appearances, back to back 20 win seasons and have broken the program record for wins in a season for two years running while competing in two consecutive TCCC Championship tournaments. McNamara enters his 5th full year in 2012 after inheriting a 0-28 club in 2007.

 McNamara is a 2004 graduate of Clark University, where he was an Academic-All American and Captain of the Baseball and Basketball teams, after graduating from Worcester Academy (2000) and Holy Name High School (1999).
