Saulnier Named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Division II-III (regional) men's lacrosse weekly awards for the period April 16-22, which ended Sunday. Anna Maria senior Mike Saulnier (Wrentham, Mass.) has been selected as the ECAC Division III New England Region Offensive Player of the Week.

Saulnier provided offensive support in a 2-1 week for Anna Maria, scoring 10 goals and adding two assists. The attackman began his week by scoring two goals and contributing an assist in a 12-11 setback to Nichols College before putting in three goals in an 8-7 victory over Norwich University. He closed out the week by scoring five goals to go with one assist for a season-high six points in a triumph over Emerson College.

Anna Maria returns to action tonight when the host Becker College in the GNAC Quarterfinals starting at 7:00pm.
