Andrew Ellis Named to GNAC Weekly Honor Roll
Paxton, Mass. – Senior Andrew Ellis (Fitchburg, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll after leading AMC to a 2-1 week.
Ellis backboned the AMCATS team allowing only 16 goals while making 26 saves in 180 minutes of play. In AMC's first road win of the season at Regis, Ellis made 7 saves and faced 24 shots in a 6-3 victory. Against Mitchell College Ellis made 9 saves allowing only 4 goals in a 10-4 win.
Ellis and the AMCATS return to action on Saturday afternoon as they host Saint Joseph's (ME) in a GNAC match-up at noon.
