Antoine Named To NEFW All-New England Team

PAXTON, MA : Senior defensive back Armstrong Antoine (Stratford, CT) of the Anna Maria College football team has been named to the 2021 New England Football Writers Division II-III All-New England Team after an outstanding season that saw him help lead the AMCATS to their first Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) championship ever, as well as a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Antoine set an Anna Maria record with ten pass breakups in just his first season with the AMCATS, leading the team with 74 total tackles and 48 solo tackles. He tallied three pass breakups against the Aggies of Delaware Valley University in the first round of the NCAA.

The team will be honored at the New England Football Writers Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, December 9, at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center. Tickets are $60/person and reservations are by credit card only.
