HIGHLIGHTS

  • The AMCATS were the first ones on the board, scoring on a 59-yard strike from senior quarterback Alex Cohen (Plymouth, MA) to junior wide receiver Deandre Wallace (Waterbury, CT). After the kick from freshman Harvey Lambert (Carmel, IN) the score was 7-0.
  •  After a pair of touchdowns by the Bears, the AMCATS combination of Cohen to Wallace again found the end zone and after the Lambert kick, the game was tied at 14.
  • Two more USGA touchdowns sent the teams into the locker rooms at halftime with the score 28-14. A field goal on their first drive of the second half pushed the lead to 17.
  • The Cohen to Wallace combination again came through for the AMCATS to cut the lead to 10 points with 9:25 to play in the third quarter but it would be as close as the AMCATS would get.
