PAXTON, Mass: The AMCATS Women's Soccer team fell to the Lasers of Lasell College in conference action this evening on AMCAT Field 11-0.
Lasell's (3-3, 3-0 GNAC) Carly Zdanek and Melissa Vasquez both had themselves a two goal game tonight. They were followed by seven other players that found the back of the net. The Lasers Sabrina Morais led the team in assists as she tallied three on the evening.
Anna Maria (0-7, 0-4 GNAC) Was led by junior Shannon LeBlanc (Lancaster, Mass.) who had two shots and one on goal. AMCAT goalie Rachel Matloff (Grafton, Mass.) accumulated fourteen saves out of the twenty-five shot on goal.
The Lasers will be back in action at home Saturday the 22nd at 1:00 PM as they face Rivier.
Anna Maria will continue to be at home for their next contest as it is this Friday the 21st at 4:00 PM against conference opponent Albertus Magnus.
