Women's Soccer Drops to Mitchell 3-0

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria women's soccer team was passed by Mitchell College 3-0 in non-conference action at Alumni Field in New London Connecticut this afternoon.

Mitchell (1-5) scored all three goals in the first half. Jacquelyn White (Danville, Vt./Danville) netted the first two and Yasmine Mai Le (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) tacked on the third midway through the Half. Both Lindsey Fairbank (Newington, Conn./Newington) and Michaela DeSena (Brockton, Mass./Southeastern Regional Voc.-Tech) were responsible for the assists on White's goals. Lindsey Robinson (East Longmeadow, Mass./East Longmeadow) also, had an assist for the third and final goal of the contest. The Mariners goalkeeper Drew Johndrow (Killingly, Conn./Killingly) made five saves on seven shots faced. 

The AMCATS (0-6) were led by Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT) who had four shots on goal this afternoon. Anna Maria Goalie Rachel Matloff (Grafton, Mass./Grafton) had herself a 17 save day in goal for the AMCATS.

The Mariners will be back on the field this Saturday as they head to Leicester, Mass to face the Hawks of Becker College, action starting at 11:00 AM.

Anna Maria will be back in action Wednesday night facing conference opponent Lasell College at 7:00 PM
