2018 Women's Soccer Season Preview
PAXTON, Mass-The preseason is underway for the Anna Maria Women's soccer team who are looking forward to the start of the 2018 season.
Earlier in the month, second year head coach Mark McGowan and his AMCATS announced their schedule for the 2018 season which will consist of eighteen games, including eleven conference matchups. The team has nine home games and nine away games on the docket.
The AMCATS welcome in five first year student-athletes along with nine returning players on the roster.
The 'Cats kick off the season with a big home opener against the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference number one seed in the regular season Johnson & Wales (RI) Wednesday September 5that 7:00 pm.
McGowan filled the squad's schedule with solid non-conference opponents in Newbury College, Mitchell College, and Fitchburg State University.
