The teams would trade baskets down the stretch and Anna Maria would hold a slim 40-39 lead heading into intermission.

The Hawks would take their first lead of the game courtesy of a layup down the left lane by Ooms at 18:40 to tie the game, 43-43 and a pair of Brooke Martel free-throws to move Becker ahead 45-43.

Pryor, playing in her first game of the season, would then take control on the court. The junior would hit Taylor Walker (Winchendon, Mass.) with a sweet pass under the basket to tie the game and after a BC turnover sophomore Brandi Pasternack (New Braintree, Mass.) would find Pryor open in the corner for the three-point dagger. On the AMCATS next possession freshman Deja Taitt (Jamaica, NY) hit Lindsay Bond (Webster, Mass.) open behind the arc and a pair of baskets by Pryor and Walker would complete the AMCAT 10-0 run to drive the score to 55-45.

Becker's Mojica would stop the run with a 3-point play with 12:49 on the clock to cut the AMCAT advantage to 7 points but it was as close as the Hawks could get as Anna Maria would pull away outscoring the Hawks 27-9 over the final ten minutes.
