Warburton Earns GNAC Player of the Week Accolades

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College junior forward Trafficia Warburton (Worcester, Mass.) has claimed the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

In the AMCATS only game of the week, a 76-59 victory over Nichols College, Warburton poured in a game-high 19 points on 9-for-20 shooting and added a game-high 18 rebounds, five steals, one block and one assist for her second double-double of the season.

Warburton earned GNAC Honor Roll status in week 2 of the 2013-14 campaign. She is currently ranked fourth in the GNAC in points per game (16.0) and fifth in rebounds (10.0).

Anna Maria returns to action Thursday when the travel to Framingham State University for a 6:00 pm match-up.
