NORTHFIELD, Vt.—The Anna Maria College baseball team snapped a seven-game winless streak with a win in game two against the Cadets of Norwich University on Wednesday afternoon. Norwich took a 6-5 win in eight innings in game one before the AMCATS rallied for a 5-1 win in the nightcap.

An inning later, the AMCATS tied the score as Julian singled and Joseph Fahey (Auburn, Mass.) reached on an error. Julian scored on a single by Jonathan Roy (Worcester, Mass.), and Fahey scored on a groundout to shortstop by Gray.

Junior Matthew Leahey (Rutland, Mass.) earned the start for Anna Maria and scattered five runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out four Norwich batters before giving way to Brenden Matthews (Worcester, Mass.), who scattered a hit, a run and three walks in four innings of work.

Four different Norwich pitchers saw action in the win, which was credited to Matt Sirois, who pitched the eighth inning.
