Schedule Set for 2015 Baseball Season

PAXTON, Mass.—Anna Maria College baseball program has finalized the schedule for the 2015 season, and will kick off the campaign with an eight-game stretch in Central Florida during spring break.

Once returning home to Massachusetts, the team will begin an away-game stretch with a doubleheader against Newbury College, and will follow that up with back-to-back away single games against Fitchburg State and Daniel Webster.

The AMCATS will host their first home game of 2015 on the weekend of March 21st and 22nd, when they will play four games against UMaine-Presque Isle.

Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play is slated to begin on March 28th on the road at Lasell. Anna Maria will host the 2014 GNAC Champions, the Monks of Saint Joseph's, on Saturday, April 11th in a double-header beginning at noon.

Anna Maria will look to build upon last season's 7-22 record with this season's 38-game schedule. Head Coach Dave McNamara returns for his ninth season at the helm of the program. The AMCATS won a program-best 26 games in 2011 and followed that up with 24 wins in 2012.
