PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria College women's lacrosse team lost 21-1 on Saturday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Caparso Field in Paxton.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Senior midfielder Ashley Rufo (Pittsfield, MA) scored the loan AMCATS goal with just over seven minutes remaining on the clock in the first period. Rufo also led the AMCATS with three caused turnovers.
  • Freshman midfielder Riley Michaud (Clinton, MA) had four ground balls to lead the AMCATS. She was followed by the trio of Cassie Micklesavage (Pottstown, PA), Rufo, and Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) with three each.
  • The AMCATS netminders did hold an edge in saves over the Wildcats, taking the category with a five to one edge.
  • Tania Gamory (Warwick, NY) led all scorers with five goals and added four helpers on other Wildcat goals. Gamory also led all players with five groundballs.

UP NEXT:

The AMCATS will return to the field on Tuesday, April 12th when they will play host to Albertus Magnus for a 5 pm game at Caparso Field.
