WENHAM, MA: The Anna Maria College women's lacrosse team fell on the road Saturday to Dean College at Grant Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Sophomore midfielder Abriana Morgan (Merrimack, NH) recorded her first career hat trick, doing so on only four shots on goal. Morgan also had three ground balls and a turnover caused.
  • Senior midfielder Ashely Rufo (Pittsfield MA) joined Morgan in the three-point club, scoring two goals while assisting on a first-quarter goal by freshman midfielder Riley Michaud. Rufo led all players with seven turnovers caused and six ground balls.
  • Rufo and Michaud led the AMCATS with seven shots each. Rufo had five on goal while Michaud had four.
  • Sophomore midfielder Raegan Hachey (Winthrop, ME) and junior attacker Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) each came through with a goal.
  • Jazzy Styler-Magee (Burlington, CT) was the top scorer, leading all players with four goals, and was one of two Bulldogs with five points. The other was Marie Brown who had three goals and two assists.
  • Bulldog goalkeeper Jada Fields (Acushnet, MA) had 18 saves and improved her record to 2-5 on the year.

The AMCATS will return to the field on Wednesday, March 30th when they will host Norwich University at 6 pm.
