Burt Named GNAC Goalkeeper Of The Week

PAXTON, MA: Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Burt (Plymouth, MA) of the Anna Maria College women's lacrosse team was named the Goalkeeper of the Week of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for the week ending March 6, 2022 as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Burt shutout Mitchell in 30 minutes in Anna Maria's opener, a 13-1 victory, turning the Mariners away with seven saves. The following game, she tallied nine saves against the Mass Maritime Academy.

Burt is the first AMCAT to be named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week since the conference began keeping records in 2013.

Anna Maria will be back on the field on Thursday, March 10th when they travel to MCLA for a 4:00 p.m. game.
