Rapoza Named WACBA Co-Player of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass – Earlier today the Worcester Area College Basketball Association named their weekly award winners. AMCAT sophomore forward Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass) was awarded co-player of the week by the association.

In two games last week Rapoza averaged 22 points and 14.5. Against Lasell he scored a career-high 27 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. Against Johnson & Wales he tallied 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Mike also blocked five combined shots over the two games. The score lines were good for his eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season.

This was the second week in a row that Rapoza has received player of the week honors from WACBA.

The AMCATS will be back on the court Thursday evening on the road against Mount Ida at 6pm.
