Rapoza Named GNAC Player of the Week. Perette Named to Honor Roll

WINTHROP, Mass - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Named their Conference players and rookies of the week along with their weekly Honor Roll today. Of which an AMCAT won player of the week and another was named to the weekly Honor Roll

Sophomore forward Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass) was named the Men's Basketball player of the week. The reigning GNAC Rookie of the Year recorded two double-doubles in a 2-1 week, averaging 19.7 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting 57.1% (24-42 FG). He had 18 points and 14 rebounds in a one-point win over Becker before going for 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting with eight boards in a loss at Wesleyan. He closed out the week by going off off for 21 points and 15 boards in a win at Salve Regina.

Being named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll is Sophomore Guard Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass) who averaged 14.0 points on 63.3% (14-22 FG, 12-20 3PT) shooting in 21 minutes per game all off the bench.

This week the AMCATS will travel to Clark Universtiy for a 4pm tip-off in Worcester, Mass before breaking for Thanksgiving.
