Saturday's game was a tale of two halves for the AMCATS. In the first half AMC shot just 30.6% from the field to the 37% shooting by Canton which allowed the Roos to jump out to a 16-8 lead eight minutes in to the first half. Though the AMC offense was not clicking at first the defense was able to keep the deficit to four points heading in to the half, 32-28. In the second half the AMCATS shooting came around, improving exponentially and the defense picked up where it left off in the first half. Picked scored 11 of his 19 in the second half with Rapoza pulling down 13 of his 21 rebounds in the second half to help keep Canton at bay. At the end of the contest the AMCATS had outscored the Roos by 10 in the second half to end the year on a high note with a 62-56 comeback win.

The AMCATS will be back on the court at home on Wednesday January 3rd to take on Lasell in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play.
