Men's Hockey Falls To Seahawks On The Road

MIDDLETOWN, RI: On Friday November 7, 2025the Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team traveled to Middletown, RI to take on the Seahawks of Salve Regina for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS would lose the game 7 to 1. 

The AMCATS and the Seahawks battled through a scoreless first period, with both teams trading quality scoring chances but neither able to find the back of the net.

Entering the second period tied 0-0, the Seahawks came out strong taking full control of the period as Salve Regina would score five unanswered goals taking a 5-0 lead heading into the third period.

The AMCATS responded early in the third period, capitalizing on a power-play opportunity. Max Wennerberg set up Brandon Della Paolera, who buried the puck to make it 5-1. Despite the AMCATS generating some offensive pressure, the Seahawks would add two more goals and keep the AMCATS off the scoreboard for the rest of the game with the AMCATS falling to the Seahawks 7-1

 

COMING UP:

The AMCATS will be back in action on Thursday November 13, 2025, where they will host the season opener against the Wolves of Western Connecticut State University for a non-conference matchup. Opening face-off is set for 5:40pm.
