Wodatch Earns ECAC Selection

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College senior Kevin Wodatch has been selected to the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball All-Star Second Team as announced by the conference. This is the second selection for the Wallingford, CT native.

 The University of Southern Maine Huskies swept the end of the year awards, as senior outfielder Tucker White was named player of the year, junior left-hander Logan Carman was named pitcher of the year and freshman shortstop Sam Dexter was named rookie of the year. The team and major award winners were selected based on a vote of regional coaches, or their respective designee.

Wodatch, earning the nod at the utility position, started all 32 games this season for the AMCATS and batted a robust .345, including 15 extra base hits. He had 13 RBI's, 11 walks and an on-base % of .410. He was the team-leader in slugging % (.509), hits (38), runs scored (23) and doubles (23).  

This season Wodatch earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team All-Conference, Worcester Area Baseball First Team selection and was named team MVP by Head Coach Dave McNamara.
