Freshman Bobby Indeglia (North Kingstown, R.I.) drove in his second RBI of the game during the bottom of the sixth.

With two outs in the seventh inning, freshman Nick Lovullo (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) was hit by a pitch and Cipolla was walked, which put runners on first and second. Freshman Connor Perry (Haverhill, Mass.) singled through the right side to score Lovullo and make the score 12-1.

In the bottom half of the eighth, the Crusaders added three more runs to their lead. Senior Alex Maldonado (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led off with a triple and two batters later, junior Ted Cullinane (East Greenwich, R.I.) was walked to put runners on the corners. During the next at bat, senior Josh Olson (Woodbury, Minn.) pinch hit and singled through the right side to score Maldonado. Two batters later, Lovullo grounded into a fielder's choice to score Cullinane. Cipolla drove in Olson on an RBI-single to end the scoring for the Crusaders, who were now ahead 15-1. Anna Maria scored its final run in the top of the ninth, as the Crusaders would go on to win 15-2.

Holy Cross sophomore pitcher Donny Murray (Walpole, Mass.) picked up the win (6-3), as he tossed two perfect innings and struck out four batters.
