NORTON, MA: The Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team opened their 2022 season with a 13-4 loss at Wheaton College on Wednesday evening at Nordin Field in Norton.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Anna Maria senior midfielder Eric Glover (Baldwinville, MA) finished with a hat trick, scoring three of the AMCATS four goals on the night.
- Anna Maria sophomore attacker Ethan Quinn (Dudley, MA) scored his first goal of the season with 11:40 to go in the fourth quarter.
- Anna Maria senior attacker Nick Massaro (West Haven, CT) had three assists on the night.
- Anna Maria senior goalie Griffin Moore (Worcester, MA) had 15 saves for the AMCATS.
- Wheaton junior attacker Max Cooper (Tolland, CT) finished the night with three goals and two assists.
