Sheehan Gets 300th Career Save In Loss To Emmanuel

BOSTON, MA. – The Anna Maria Women's lacrosse team (1-14; 0-12) traveled to Boston, MA on Saturday, April 22nd to take on the Emmanuel College Saints (12-4; 9-3) in a GNAC Conference Matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 21-4. 

After being held scoreless for the first quarter, the AMCATS ended their silence in the second quarter with a goal from Olivia Stump off a pass from Riley Cote just three minutes into the quarter. The AMCATS found the back of the net two more times in the second quarter before being held scoreless for most of the third quarter. Lydia Rosen put away the AMCATS final goal of the game with a little over a minute left in the third quarter. A scoreless fourth quarter closed the game out with the AMCATS trailing behind the Saints 21-4.

  • Goaltender Ashley Sheehan made her 300th career save against the Saints.

Anna Maria women's lacrosse is back in action on Wednesday, April 26th where they will celebrate Senior Day hosting the Rivier University Raiders at Caparso Field in Paxton, MA. Opening face-off is at 6:00PM.
