Wildcats Scratch Down Women's Lacrosse 19-1

PROVIDENCE, RI. – The Anna Maria Women's lacrosse team (1-5; 0-3) traveled to Providence, RI to take on the Wildcats of Johnson and Wales (3-2; 3-0) the AMCATS lost the game 19-1.

After being held scoreless for the first three quarters of the game, the AMCATS found their first and final goal of the day off a shot from Riley Cote with four minutes left to play. The AMCATS closed the game out behind the Wildcats 19-1.

  • The AMCATS are 0-3 in their last three meetings with the Wildcats.

Anna Maria women's lacrosse is back in action on Saturday, March 25th where they will host the University of St. Joseph (CT) at the Caparso Field in Paxton, MA. Opening draw is at 12:00PM.
