Colby-Sawyer Charges Past Womens Lacrosse 23-2

NEW LONDON, NH. – The Anna Maria Women's lacrosse team (1-7; 0-5) traveled to New London, NH to take on the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College (5-4; 3-2) for a GNAC Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 23-2.

The AMCATS found themselves on the board early in the game off a goal from Ivy Ballou just under four minutes into the game. Unfortunately the AMCATS would be held scoreless until late in the third quarter where Riley Cote found the back of the net for the AMCATS second goal of the night. The Chargers held off the AMCATS for the remainder of the game closing out the final quarter over the AMCATS 23-2.

  • The AMCATS are 0-3 in their last three meetings with the Chargers.

Anna Maria women's lacrosse is back in action on Saturday, April 1st where they will host the Regis College Pride at the Caparso Field in Paxton, MA. Opening draw is at 12:00PM.
