Miller Named GNAC Player of the Week

Paxton, Mass. – Sophomore Samantha Miller (Dudley, Mass.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Miller batted .667 on the week, going 4-6 over two games for the AMCATS at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. The sophomore went 1-2 with a double and RBI against Rensselaer in Anna Maria's season-opener and then 3-4 with a double, RBI and run scored against WPI. Miller was also perfect in the field, converting all five chances for a 1.000 fielding percentage at the hot corner.

Anna Maria returns to action on Tuesday morning when they will face Coast Guard at 9:00 a.m. in non-conference spring break action.
