Henry Earns GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors
Paxton, Mass. – Freshman attack Scott Henry (Coventry, RI) has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 7th.
In two games Henry notched 11 goals on 17 shots. He tipped the twine six times in a GNAC match-up vs. Daniel Webster, a 12-8 win. He added five more goals, including the game-winner in a 11-10 victory over Mount Saint Vincent. The AMCATS were a perfect 2-0 (1-0 GNAC) on the week.
Senior Rod Henriques (Saugus, Mass.) was also named to the men's lacrosse honor roll for the week. Henruques scored 8 goals, including 3 man-up and one shorthanded, in two games for the AMCATS last week. The face-off specialist was 11-for-15 in the circle and had 5 groundballs on the week.
Anna Maria returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Lasell College for a 4pm tilt.
