Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale to Newbury

 The Newbury College women's soccer team recorded their fourth shut-out of the season in a 10-0 victory over non-conference Anna Maria College, Monday afternoon. With the win, Newbury improves to 7-5-1 while Anna Maria finishes the season at 0-19.

 Sophomore forward Briana Tomaselli (Warwick, R.I.) got the scoring started for the first two goals of the game. Six minutes into the contest she cleaned up freshman Kelsey Landry's (Milford, N.H.) rebound and fired it passed Anna Maria keeper senior Amanda Hevy (North Brookfield, Mass.). Eight minutes later, junior Jasmine James (Wellesley, Mass.) made a long, clean pass up the middle to a waiting Tomaselli, who deked Hevy for her second goal of the contest. From there it was all Newbury.

AMC's keeper Hevy made 17 saves on the day.

 Wyszynski started Senior Day in goal for the Nighthawks but opened the second period of play up front at forward. In the 67th minute of the contest, she registered her ninth goal of her career off a feed from Tomaselli. Six minutes later classmate, Graus got in on the action collecting her 13th goal of her collegiate career dribbling up the left side and finishing, unassisted. She and finished the afternoon with a goal and an assist.
