PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Soccer team fell to the Suffolk Rams in conference play this afternoon 1-0 in Boston.
The Rams (3-10-1, 3-6-1 GNAC) lone goal was scored by Jordan Casey in the 77th minute off of a pass from Hines Jackson. Suffolks Goalie David Haines only faced two shots in the contest as was able to save both.
The AMCATS (2-11-1, 0-8-1 GNAC) totaled four shots with only two on net. Nick Lawrence (Attleboro, Mass.) led Anna Maria with both of the shots that were on goal. Goalie Jeffre Donahue saw eleven shots on net and was able to save ten of them.
Suffolk will be back this Saturday the 20th as they travel to Norwich to play a conference match starting at 1:00 PM.
Anna Maria will continue on the road this Wednesday the 17th to conference opponent Regis for a 5:00 PM start.
