Bowhile Tabbed as GNAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

WITHROP, Mass.—Freshman James Bowhile (Worcester, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College men's soccer team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

It marks the second-straight week that a member of the AMCAT squad has earned a weekly honor, as junior Christopher Mattioli (Sturbridge, Mass.) was named the league's Player of the Week last week.

BOWHILE'S BOOT

Bowhile had a milestone day against Becker last week, as he netted a hat-trick and added two assists to have a hand in five out of Anna Maria's six goals on the day.

On the season, Bowhile has totaled four goals and three assists for a team second-best 11 points. He has started in eight games this season and has played in all 10 for the AMCATS.

The AMCATS (2-7-1, 1-3 GNAC) host Emmanuel College this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. before hitting the road for the final five games of the regular season.
