Bradanese Named GNAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass.—Senior Patrick Bradanese (Billerica, Mass.) of the Anna Maria College men's basketball team has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

It marks the first time this season that a member of the AMCAT squad has earned a GNAC weekly honor.

PATRICK'S PERFORMANCES

Bradanese was Anna Maria's best scorer on the week, dropping 15 points against Trinity and 23 points in a win against Pine Manor to average 19.0 points per game at the Trinity Holiday Tournament. He finished the week shooting 39.1 percent from the floor, alongside a 9-for-10 effort from the charity stripe.

He recorded his first double-double of 2015-16 against Pine Manor, as he also recorded 11 rebounds in the victory. In addition, Bradanese totaled 12 assists over the two contests.

SEASON TOTALS

Bradanese's scoring dominance has been season-long, as he has been the team's top scorer in seven out of the team's 10 games. He averages 18.0 points per game while shooting 39.1 percent from the floor.

WHAT'S NEXT

The AMCATS (6-4, 2-1 GNAC) return to GNAC action this week when they host Albertus Magnus and Emmanuel on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, before travelling to Lasell on Saturday.
